What is Child Dedication?

Child Dedication Sunday at Thrive is an opportunity to pray a blessing over your child and publicly express your desire to raise Jesus centered kids. It's also a way to show our church's commitment to help you in that journey.

We know parenting isn't easy, but with God's guidance and intentionality, you can build a foundation that makes an eternal impact in the life of your child.

We invite children ages 0-4 years old to participate. If your child is older, please contact us.

Child dedications are for families with children aged 0-4.

After worship, you’ll be invited up to the front for a special prayer dedication with the pastor team and whole church supporting you in this important moment. You will also receive a special gift. The dedication will run approx. 10:45-11 am followed by our normal message and Next Gen time.

No, Child dedication is a time of blessing your child’s life and a public commitment by parents/caregivers to raise their child in a Jesus-centered home. Baptism is a personal decision to declare one’s faith in Jesus.
